Field of Invention Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to attachments for tools such as garden tools. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Garden tools are known for hanging tools such as broom, tear, bucket, shovel, cultivator, chopping iron and more. Common to the implements is that they are located at the end of a shaft. The other end of the shaft may be formed with or without a crossbar.
Implements in which the shaft has a transverse bar will typically be suspended with the transverse bar in the tool suspension and with the implement facing downwards, while implements without a transverse bar will typically be suspended with the implement in the tool's suspension and the shaft end facing down.
The object of the invention
An object of the invention is to provide an alternative tool s suspension, which enables the storage of tools in limited space.
Description of the Invention
This is achieved according to the present invention with a tool's suspension comprising a rail with a first end and a second end and at least one hook with an orifice, wherein said at least one hook and the rail are provided with cooperating fasteners arranged so that at least one one hook may be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the rail, wherein said at least one hook is positioned with the mouth facing the first end of the rail, said at least one hook having a width A in the longitudinal direction of the rail, and wherein the rail has a length B in its longitudinal direction which is larger. than the total length of propagation A multiplied by the number of hooks.
The attachment of the attachment hereby enables the storage of implements in limited space.
The number of hooks is selected to match the number of tools you want to store. This determines the length of the rail.
The hooks which are slidable in the longitudinal direction of the rail can be pushed together so that they are in contact with each other, so that the storage of the tools becomes as compact as possible. In this position, the structure of the hooks will at the same time block the implements from being removed.
As the rail is longer than the total length of the hooks, the hooks can be moved apart, so that the tools can be removed alternately.
The tool suspension can be turned with the rail facing upwards or the rail facing to the side.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the length B is equal to or greater than the total length of the extension A multiplied by the number of hooks plus 1.
In this way it is achieved that tools of the same width as the length of the hooks in the longitudinal direction of the rail can be suspended and lowered, the hooks being able to be moved a distance at least corresponding to their width.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the rail has a C-shaped cross section.
This provides a particularly simple way of establishing fasteners on the rail, in which the cooperating fasteners on the hooks can be designed to fit into the mouth of the C, which forms an undercut groove in which the hooks can be displaced along the rail.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that said at least one hook is formed of a plate which is provided with two folds, so that the hook has a C-shaped cross section.
This provides a particularly simple way of forming the hooks.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the end of the hook is a fork and the fork has two teeth.
Hereby it is achieved that the tool shaft can be placed in the opening between the teeth of the fork and that the tool or cross bar can rest on the teeth.
According to a further embodiment, the implement suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the implement suspension comprises a locking device adapted to prevent the implements from being removed from the implement suspension.
This ensures that the tool's suspension gets a built-in anti-theft device. This allows the tool suspension to be placed where the tools will be readily available without being removed.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the tool s suspension comprises an end stop at the first end of the rail, the end stop being arranged so as to block said at least one hook mouth with said at least one hook in contact with the end stop.
This ensures that the implement is secured in the tool's suspension when the hook is in contact with the end stop.
According to a further embodiment, the tool suspension according to the invention is characterized in that the locking device is arranged for locking said at least one hook in a position where said at least one hook is in contact with the end stop.
This ensures that implements are secured in the implement suspension during, for example, transport, if the implement's suspension is mounted on a car.
In embodiments where the hooks hang from the rail and where the distance between the rail and the mouth of the hooks is arranged so that it is longer than the shortest shaft, the tools will be secured against theft as the tools cannot be pushed so far that they can be released from the tool suspension.
Character description
The invention will then be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which fig. 1 is an exploded view of the implement suspension; FIG. 2 shows the tool suspension with tools in a first mounting position; FIG. 3 shows the tool suspension with a locking device; FIG. 4 shows the tool suspension in a different mounting position, and fig. 5 shows the tool suspension in a third mounting position.
In the description of the figures, identical or similar elements will be denoted by the same reference numerals in the various figures. Thus, no explanation of all details will be given in connection with each figure / embodiment.
Detailed description of the invention
FIG. 1 shows an explosion drawing of the tool suspension 1.
The tool suspension 1 comprises a rail 2 with a first end 3 and a second end 4 as well as at least one hook 5 with an orifice 6.
In the embodiment shown, the tool suspension 1 comprises three hooks 5.
The rail 2 and the hooks 5 are arranged with cooperating fasteners 7 arranged so that the hooks 5 can be displaced longitudinally of the rail.
In the embodiment shown, the fastening means 7 are formed by the rail 2 being formed with a C-shaped cross-section and the upper part of the hooks being formed to fill the opening of the C-etch.
In the illustrated embodiment, the length B of the rail is equal to four times the width A, with three hooks 5. Hereby the hooks 5 can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the rail, the rail 2 being longer than the total width of the hooks 5.
In the embodiment shown, the hooks 5 are formed by a plate which is provided with two 90 ° folds 8. As seen from the side, the hook 5 has a C-shaped cross section.
Furthermore, in the illustrated embodiment, the hooks 5 are formed with a fork-shaped end, the fork having two teeth 9. This is most clearly seen in Figure 5.
FIG. 2 shows the tool suspension 1 with utensils 10 in a first mounting position, where the first end 3 of the rail is secured to a support so that the rail 2 is extended.
The hook 5 closest to the base can be displaced so that it is in contact with the base which constitutes an end stop, whereby the implement 10 cannot be released, the end stop blocking the mouth of the inner hook. The middle tool 10 of FIG. 2, on the other hand, can be released, since its hook 5 is not in contact with the preceding hook 5.
FIG. 3 shows tool s suspension 1 with a locking device 11. In the illustrated embodiment, the locking device 11 is a plate formed with a protrusion 12 which can be passed through a slot 13 in the rail 2, so that the plate has a part 15 on one of the rails. side and the other side of the rail. The projection 12 has an opening 14 for a padlock.
The portion designated 15 is provided with a length so that all the hooks 5 are assembled in a position where they are in contact and where the mouths are blocked.
FIG. 4 shows the tool suspension 1 in another mounting position, where the rail 2 is extended and where the rail 2 and the hooks 5 face upwards and where the tools 10 are brought in from the side.
FIG. 5 shows the tool suspension 1 in a third mounting position, where the rail is mounted between two brackets 16.
